How Florida contract deadlines are counted
Calendar days. Any deadline that lands on a Saturday, Sunday or national legal holiday (5 U.S.C. 6103) moves to 5:00 p.m. on the next business day. This preset follows the Florida Realtors/Florida Bar contracts; the Florida Realtors-only CRSP form counts differently.

- Weekends and holidays
- Under the Florida Realtors/Florida Bar “AS IS” Residential Contract for Sale and Purchase, a deadline that lands on a weekend or holiday generally moves to the next business day. These do not move: title commitment delivered.
