How Colorado contract deadlines are counted
Colorado’s contract uses dates written into a deadline table, not day counts, so enter each date from your table. Deadlines do not move for weekends or holidays unless “Will” is checked in §3.3.3; if neither box is checked, they do not move. Tick the box below only if “Will” is checked. A deadline left blank or marked N/A deletes that provision.
- Standard form
- Colorado Real Estate Commission Contract to Buy and Sell Real Estate (Residential), CBS1 V2, mandatory from Jan 1, 2026
- Day zero
- MEC (mutual execution of the contract)
- Deadlines end
- 11:59 p.m. Mountain Time, unless your contract sets a time
- Holidays used
- only the major holidays every state observes, so a date can come out earlier than your contract allows, never later
- Weekends and holidays
- We couldn’t confirm a general weekend rule in the form, so the calculator flags weekend deadlines instead of moving them.
- How sure we are
- Checked against the form text (version noted). Still confirm against the version you signed.
